Ethiopia’s Lelisa Desisa won New York City Marathon defeating defending champion Geoffrey Kamworor. Lelisa finished his race in 2 hours 5 minutes and 59 seconds. While Shura Kitata of Ethiopia finished second with 2 hours 6 minutes and one second. The men run was dominated by Ethiopia while 5 USA runners made it to the top 10 rank.
