Several news outlets are confirming the arrest of former METEC CEO Kinfe Dagnew and Tekleberhan Woldearegay (Maj. Gen), former head of the Information Network Security Agency (INSA).

The arrest comes day after the attorney general press briefing and in his statement he has assured there will be more arrest. Both Kinfe Dagnew and Tekleberhan Woldearegay relocated to Mekelle right after PM Abiy Ahmed. During the past six months both of them have given interviews to several medias expressing their discontent with the new administration.

According to Walta both Kinfe Dagnew were arrested trying to flee from the country last night at around 11:00 PM through Ethiopia Sudan border.
