Betty G Performance at Afrima Music Award

Betty G, an artist with a golden voice who won her fans’ heart with her soulful second album “Wegegta” swept 3 awards at the 5th All African Music Awards (AFRIMA) which was held in Accra, Ghana on the 24th of November 2018. It was attended by hundreds of big names in the African music industry. Betty G also stunned the audience with a mesmerizing performance of one of her hit songs “Geriye”. Her stage presence and charisma were admired and applauded by many.

 

AFRIMA winners are selected through votes collected from an Academy of voters (music professionals) and fans. Ethiopia was previously represented at AFRIMA by Hamelmal Abate, Tsedenia G/Markos, Fikreaddis Neqatibeb, Helen Berhe, and Henok Mehari. Betty G once again represented her country with 6 nominations and 3 big wins.
Betty G, her manager, Eyob Alemayehu, and Yisakal Entertainment would like to extend their deepest gratitude to her fans, fellow artists, and everyone who took the time to vote for her.
