Dire Dawa Mayor Ibrahim Osman Resigned

In an extraordinary meeting that was held in Dire-Dawa council today, the city council accepted the resignation of its city mayor Ibrahim Osman who has been serving the city for the past four years.

The city council appointed Mahdi Giire Roble as deputy mayor and will act as interim acting mayor until a replacement is appointed. Other changes include the resignation of the Dire Dawa Council Speaker Khadiir Juhaar along with several new appointments.
