US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken reaffirms commitment to preserving peace in Ethiopia

Following the Sanction of Ethiopia from an important trade pact, AGOA, and the current crises in Ethiopia,  foreign relations with the international community took a step back. 

Major counterpart investigations and negotiations took part in this regard.

US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken started his conversation with  Ethiopian deputy prime minister Demeke Mekonen to underscore the United States’ commitment to supporting Ethiopians in taking concrete steps towards peace to preserve unity and sovereignty of the states.

As mentioned by Billene Seyoum, press secretary for PM of Ethiopia,” we are still working on a constructive negotiation with all international communities to amend any refutes. “

“The United States deeply values the leadership of African Union High Representative and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo in Pushing for a peaceful resolution to the crises in Ethiopia.” He stated.

  1. One cannot afford to ignore the greatness of Ethiopia in defending its sovereignty and national integrity as shown in the 19th century historical archive of Italy. We advise those ill-advised and misguided people to take a good look at the history of Ethiopians to know who they are when it comes to National issues in spite of their immense cultural diversity .
