The Joe Biden administration recently announced on various social media that it was sending troops to Ethiopia in light of the situation in northern Ethiopia. There were rumors circulating that he was recruiting soldiers.
Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Dina Mufti, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media, said that it was not acceptable.
“They should refrain from this evil idea,” said Ambassador Dina Mufti
“At this time, there is nothing to worry about in order to impose military pressure on Ethiopia, it is not in the interest of the people of the United States to protect the interests of the country.
“Our people, our affairs, our existence, our freedom, everything is in our hands, not in their hands, not in the hands of others; it cannot be in anyone’s hands. The people are saying this out loud.”
On the issue of peace, Ambassador Dina Mufti stated, “This country is a people and a government that has always stood for peace unless the country is under pressure. The government has taken steps to bring peace once and for all. “Our people are saying why they are loading us, but there is nothing more than our existence.”
“It is better not to take action against the Americans,” he added.
“We have seen Libya, Yemen, Syria, Iraq, the Middle East, and other parts of Asia in our region. They will not create anything. Instead, it will destroy the friendship and long-standing relations between the two countries,”
