The historic city of Lalibela is now under the control of the Defense Forces,the Amhara Special Forces.

The Defense Forces and the Amhara Special Forces,took control of the historic city of Lasta Lalibela and the Lalibela International Airport. Lalibela, the site of a world-renowned rock-hewn church, and its international airport.

The Defense Forces and the Amhara Special are clearing the area of Lasta Lalibela and moving forward to take control of Sekota.
