Ethiopians citizens can now suggest the nomination commissioners of the National Consultative Commission •

The House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) has announced that it will be able to provide information to the House in person.

 

It is to be recalled that the Ethiopian National Consultative Commission Establishment Proclamation No. 1265/2014 was approved by the House at its 2nd special session yesterday.

 

Article 12, Sub-Article 1 of the Proclamation stipulates that the Speaker of the House of Peoples’ Representatives shall receive nomination commission members from the public, political parties and civil society. Accordingly, the Office of the Speaker of the House of Peoples’ Representatives has been established.

 

Pursuant to Article 13 of the Proclamation

1 / Ethiopian citizen;

2 / Treat all religions, nationalities, nationalities and peoples equally;

3 / Not a member of any political party;

4 / Can make a significant contribution to national consensus;

5 / Has good morals and personality;

6 / Trusted by the public;

7 / Has not been convicted of a felony;

8 / Fully qualified to carry out the work of the Commission;

9 / The House declares that they are willing to work full time for the Commission.

He also said that the submission form will be posted on the council’s website www.hopr.gov.et
