Hawassa University lecturer & media activist Meskerem Aberra has been arrested yesterday at Bole International airport while coming from Bahir Dar. According to her husband he still remain unaware of her whereabouts.
In the past one week alone seven journalists has been arrested & the current crackdown on journalists raises concern among concerned bodies.
According to BBC Amharic five of the journalists where arrested in Bahir Dar & all of them were part of Ashara Media. The journalists were abducted by Amhara special force.
