Several ethnic Amharas killed in the latest attack in Wollega

According to Dagu Journal several civilians were killed in an attack by OLF Shene militants in the area known as Village 20 (Hawa Gelen Woreda, Kelem Welega Zone;  Residents of the Lena Kebele)

An unnamed source told us that an unknown number of innocent people were killed in today’s terrorist attack. They also told us that many children and mothers were killed in the attack.

Residents also said that due to the large size of the terrorist group, local security forces were unable to enter the area until more troops arrived.

It is not known how many people were killed in the attack, but a large number of innocent people were killed. Residents also said that there were many injured people and that it was difficult to evacuate the injured.

It is known that a large number of innocent people were killed in a similar attack on Welega on June 19, 2022.

Also MP Christian Tadele shared the news on his official account demanding an end to the endless attack on Amhara’s residing in Wollega.
