Ethiopian Airlines has announced that it will take delivery of 8 new aircraft in a few months. The aircraft are part of a larger order of 26 new planes that the airline is negotiating to purchase.

The CEO of Ethiopian Airlines Group, Mr. Mesen, said that the airline is also in talks with Boeing and Airbus about importing more planes. He stated that the rest of the passenger planes will arrive at a later date.

In addition to the new aircraft, Ethiopian Airlines is also planning to add 6 new flight destinations in the coming months. These destinations include Madrid, London-Gatwick, Amsterdam, Hanoi, and Bangui.

The airline is working to increase its revenue by 22% in the current fiscal year. In order to achieve this goal, Ethiopian Airlines is expanding its fleet, adding new flight destinations, and improving customer service.

The airline currently has 145 aircraft and serves 134 international and 22 domestic destinations.
