Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Arrives in UAE for Working Visit

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.) has arrived in the United Arab Emirates for a working visit, according to an announcement from the Prime Minister’s Office on Thursday.

During the visit, Abiy is expected to hold talks with senior UAE officials on bilateral relations and other issues of mutual interest.

The trip comes shortly after the Prime Minister visited Djibouti, where he took part in a trilateral meeting with Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Djiboutian President Ismail Omar Guelleh.

The three leaders discussed ways to deepen cooperation among their countries, with a particular focus on regional peace, security, and joint efforts to combat terrorism in the Horn of Africa.

According to information released by the Somali President’s Office, the discussions also covered expanding mutual investment, strengthening people-to-people ties, and improving infrastructure connectivity to support faster regional economic integration.
