Police Interrupted Eskinder Nega Press Conference

A Press conference called by activist and journalist, Eskinder Nega at Ras Hotel, was interrupted by police. Eskinder Nega and journalists who were attending the press conference were forced to leave the hotel. Despite the interruption, Eskinder Nega resumed his address to the media outside the hotel.

The prime minister has been very critical of Eskinder Nega move to establish a caretaker for Addis Ababa. In his last week address, the prime minister threatened to wage war on Eskinder Nega. The Prime Minister comment on Eskinder was also harshly criticized by activist Jawar Mohammed who also expressed his concern over the violation of fundamental human right.
