Ultra-Modern liberary opened in Addis
One of its kind state of the art liberary to be inaugurated tomorrow. The library is located in Addis Ababa, around 4 kilo. The budget allocated for the library is 1.15 billion birr, covering some 19,000 square meters.

The four-story building measures up to 1.5 km in height, with a capacity to store 1.4 million books, a digital library consisting of thousand ebooks, and 300 thousand research papers.

The library is accessible for everyone; there is a section for breastfeeding mothers and infants, including a braille section for visually impaired people and a modern cafeteria and meeting hall.

It has eight bookstores and related services, a theater and playgrounds, and a parking area that can park 115 cars at a time.

This project was completed on time and budget and reaffirmed the government’s implementation capacity.
