Ambassador Dina Mufti Reappointed as Spokesperson of Foreign Affairs Office

Ambassador Dina Mufti who has concluded his tenure as Ethiopia ambassador to Egypt has been reappointed as the new spokesperson for the ministry of foreign affairs. 

Ambassador Dina Mufti has a record of serving as a full-time ambassador in several countries including Kenya, Malawi, Seychelles, and Denmark etc. Also, the ambassador has served as advisor and secretary for Ethiopia government in the Canada embassy. 

His appointment comes at a time where the country diplomacy efforts are mainly channeled to the GERD negotiation and his experience as a former ambassador to Egypt along with his prior experience with the same foreign affairs office is expected to boost Ethiopia’s diplomatic efforts.
