Yohannes Abraham who was former Senior Advisor to the National Economic Council at the Obama Administration has been picked by the Vice President team to lead the day to day operation of the transition team.
Yohannes’ first step to politics began in 2007 by working for then-Senator Obama. As a director for Obama’s election team in Virginia he helped the Democratic Senator to win a state that has never been won for 44 years by a democratic candidate. He was the first Ethio-American to serve at a senior position at the White House.
In his interview with Tadias,the former Yale graduate credits his parents who immigrated to the US in the 1960s for the foundation they laid out for him to join public service.
