The situation in Addis Ababa remains calm. The introduction of a state of emergency has not brought any significant changes to the everyday rhythm of life of the Ethiopian capital. The exclusion, perhaps, represents increased security of important facilities (government, buildings, airports, etc) and patrolling the city streets. However,we still recommend Russian citizens to refrain from travelling to the country without urgent necessity. The Embassy continues to operate as usual, the evacuation of employees or members of their families is not planned. Bole International Airport is operating as usual. As the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Administration recently stated, flights over the country are safe.
