Journalist Tamrat Negera was reportedly arrested by police

Journalist Tamrat Negera, Editor-in-Chief of Terara Network, was taken from his home by police today. The official Facebook account of Terara Network shared that police arrested journalist Tamrat Negera on 10th December, around 10:30 AM from his home.

Tamerat was then taken to the Addis Ababa Police Commission Sostegna Police Station for questioning. According to Tamrat’s office, the police searched the journalist’s home and office and confiscated all the necessary media equipment, including laptops, computers, recorders, flash disks, and other equipment.
