Dear Ethiopians, Our children on the frontiers of the Holy Spirit to protect the dignity of the country at home and abroad; We salute you in the name of the living God, the Creator of the ages, the Ruler of the worlds through His Word, the invincibility of His existence, and His infinite lordship.
To those of us who are in emotional turmoil, heartbreaking, and heartbreaking grief; May God strengthen you for our children, who were left destitute yesterday, who were deprived of honorable death and burial, who were humbled by human beings, who were Ethiopians sacrificed by Ethiopians, and who were considered foreigners by their country:
In an age when many good words are spoken, the voices of wisdom are echoed, and the foundations are torn to shreds, we find that the time has come for us to say. When we see our innocent people die only in the way God has given them, the reality of our downfall and fall is obvious. The church commemorates those who died, of course, because they were martyrs. A martyr dies for God. We call these people martyrs because they are God-given, why they were created. The killers are the direct opponents of God.
As always, I was deeply moved when I heard of the horrific massacre of our people in Welega and Gambella. Throughout the year, winter and year, we see the words of our Lord come, “Pray that your exodus will not be in the winter.” We need to reconsider who we are going to teach if we keep losing our own people.
In the name of the living God, we extend our great call to end the time when it is getting late, death is news, citizens are losing their dignity and domination is running out!
God bless Ethiopia and its people
Amen! June 23, 2022
