Why we should be grateful?

Surely the good things that happened to us in the last 4 years outweigh the bad things that happened to us?
Dr. Dessalegn Chanie

1) Hundreds of thousands of Ethiopians lost their precious lives in the TPLF terror attack. These martyred citizens have families and friends who love them. Our country has lost human lives to an extent never seen in its recent history, wealth worth trillions of birr has been destroyed in war, thousands of women and children have been gang-raped and exposed to severe psychological violence. Even though the government was forced into the war, how can the lost Ethiopian lives be considered easy?

2) In the past 4 years alone, millions of citizens have been displaced, billions worth of property has been looted and destroyed, and citizens have been rendered stateless in their own countries. Tens of thousands of citizens have been massacred by identity-based attacks, children, mothers, and the elderly have lost their blood in vain. How to minimize this problem?

Your Excellency:

What are the good things that have been done to us compared to the problems mentioned above? What is the political gain by minimizing the suffering our people are going through? Why is it difficult for us to look at the matter in the shoes of the poor people when they pay the fee?

We do not have a problem that can be alleviated by covering up the complex problems that our country has entered. Confront the problem and make basic structural, institutional, and versioning improvements; If they said that the government should work on ensuring the peace and security of the people and the country, which is its main responsibility, they would be closer to reality.
