Prime Minister’s National Security Adviser stated that the federal government is ready to hold peace talks anywhere and anytime to resolve the problem in the northern part of the country.
According to the Prime Minister’s National Security Adviser, Ambassador Redwan Hussain, he and the Minister of Justice, Dr. Gideon Timotios, briefed the United Nations, the European Union, and the United States, as well as the United States Ambassador to Ethiopia, and the ambassadors of France, Italy, Germany, and Britain.

During this presentation, they indicated that they have clarified the position of the federal government regarding the peace talks. According to this, the federal government is ready to start the peace talks anywhere and at any time, he said.

It was also explained to them that the process of peace talks being conducted under the leadership of the African Union may be given logistical support by other parties.
