More than 30 Civilians Killed in Drone Attack in Finote Selam

A drone attack in Finote Selam, Ethiopia, killed more than 30 civilians on Sunday afternoon. The attack took place around 1:00 pm local time, targeting civilians who were gathered around Damot Hotel at a gas station.

DW Amharic spoke to witnesses from the area who said that the drone struck a group of people who were gathered around the city square. The witnesses said that the attack was indiscriminate and that there were no military targets in the area.

The drone attack is the latest in a series of attacks on civilians in the Amhara region. In recent weeks, there have been several attacks, as well as on civilians gathered at markets and other public places.

The attacks have raised concerns about the safety of civilians in Ethiopia.
