As far as I am aware the Grand Palace or more recently the National or Presidential Palace..built by Haile Sellassie for his 25 year jubilee..and lived in by him 1955/74..is NOT inside Unity Park.
It is on Menelik Avenue south of the Hilton..and on the other side of that boulevard.
Please correct me if I am wrong or if I am correct..then please correct your story.
Is not the phrase Grand Palace referring to Menelik’s Palace which is indeed inside Unity Park

.the palace recently renovated is NOT the Grand Palace in Unity Park.
