Ethiopian model, actress, environmental activist, and producer Ameleset Muche has launched a new streaming service platform called MayaFlicks. The platform offers unlimited access to a wide variety of movies at an affordable price of 40 birr per day or 15 birr per day. Users can access the platform via the web, Android, and the App Store.

Ameleset has also made her mark as a director and actress with the release of five movies, including the popular music clip “Ke Mar Esk Tuaf” which was sang by her husband Teddy Afro. Her popular show on YouTube, “YeLib Wog,” has amassed over 20 million views.

The launch of MayaFlicks is a significant step for Ameleset in her efforts to promote Ethiopian cinema and provide easy access to a wide range of entertainment options for her fans.
