The Council approved the appointment of the President of the Federal High Court, Lelise Dessalen

Addis Ababa, March 26, 2015 (FBC) The House of People’s Representatives investigated and approved the appointment of the President of the Federal High Court, Mrs. Lelise Desalegn, and the Vice President, Mrs. Zahra Umer Ali.

The House of Representatives is holding its 13th regular session today.

In the 13th regular session of the Council, the President of the Federal High Court, Ms. Lelise Desalegn, and the Vice President, Ms. Zahra Umer Ali, were nominated and approved by a majority vote.

President of the Federal High Court Mrs. Lelise Desalegn and Vice President Mrs. Zahra Umer Ali took the oath.

In addition, the council discussed the government development organizations bill and chaired the standing committee for government development organizations by unanimous vote, and concluded its 13th regular meeting.
