Yango Celebrates Its Drivers on Driver Appreciation Day in Ethiopia

A special Iftar program for Muslim drivers

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – March 28, 2024 – Yango, an international tech company, a ride-hailing app in Ethiopia, celebrated dedicated drivers on Driver Appreciation Day, recognizing their vital role in providing safe and convenient transportation across Addis Ababa and Sheger City.

Yango, together with its franchise partner G2G IT Solutions, acknowledges partner drivers as the backbone of its operations. Driver Appreciation Day served as a heartfelt thank you for their passion, professionalism, and commitment to delivering exceptional service to passengers.

To show appreciation, Yango presented each driver with specially designed Yango gifts and merchandise. These tokens symbolize the important role drivers play and the strong partnership between Yango and its partners’ driver  community. Yango executives personally thanked all drivers, further demonstrating the company’s dedication to recognizing driver achievements.

In addition, recognizing the importance of Ramadan, Yango hosted a special Iftar program for its Muslim drivers. This event fostered a sense of community and inclusion, allowing drivers to break fast together and strengthen their camaraderie.
