Ethio Telecom Expands Digital Solutions with New Cloud, Music Streaming, and Mobile Database Services

Ethio Telecom is taking steps to further digitize the daily activities of its customers and establish itself as a leading provider of digital solutions. The company has signed partnerships with three separate entities to provide a range of new services to its customers.

The first of these new services is the Teledrive Mobile Database service. This service allows customers to store and access large files like photos, videos, SMS, and contact information securely in the cloud. This service is particularly useful for customers who need to access important information even if they lose their mobile device or it is stolen. Customers can download the Teledrive app from either the App Store or the Google Play Store, and payments for the service can be made through telebirr.

The second new service launched by Ethio Telecom is the Elf Music app. This app provides customers with a way to purchase and listen to their favorite music without needing to use mobile data. In addition to purchasing music, the app also provides online radio programs in five different languages and at affordable prices.

Ethio Telecom has also recently built modern cloud centers to meet the growing demand for cloud services. The company has launched telecloud services and is providing cloud solution services in partnership with Zergaw Internet Service Provider. These cloud services include Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), which allows users to store and access personal information from anywhere, Software as a Service (SaaS), which provides customers with access to software at a reasonable price, ERP solutions, file management systems, telebirr-based digital payments, and more.

Beyond its core telecom services, Ethio Telecom is committed to improving the daily lives of its customers and addressing societal challenges through technology. The company has already launched several projects in the financial and digital services space and is dedicated to continuing to do so in the future.

Overall, these new services from Ethio Telecom are a major step forward in the company’s mission to be a leading provider of digital solutions in Ethiopia. The combination of secure cloud storage, music streaming, and mobile database services provides customers with a comprehensive suite of digital tools to help them in their daily lives.
