Teninete, backed by Chapa’s payment gateway, is Ethiopia’s first national Health SuperApp. Initiated by the FDRE Prime Minister’s Office and powered by the Ministry of Health, Teninete brings essential health services into one digital channel, and Chapa makes those services instantly payable, securely and reliably.
Through one app, citizens can now:

Beyond Teninete, Chapa is building a nationwide digital payment network across the health sector.
Major hospitals such as St. Peter Hospital, St. Paul Hospital, and Adama General Hospital are already live, using Chapa to streamline billing, reduce paperwork, and speed up patient flow across departments.
Pharmacies are joining that network too. Kenema Pharmacy Group and multiple private pharmacies across Ethiopia are now integrating with Chapa, gaining:
